I couldn't care less about the legal details or peoples personal opinions of his ownership, but does anyone know if he's scheduled to cover mares this coming year?
He's a pretty damn good stallion and deserves some patronage. Any details about his location or plans would be much appreciated.

He has finally been sold to new owners, and is now standing at Victory Rose Thoroughbreds in Vacaville (Northern California), under the fine care of Ellen Jackson.

Aren't the new owners the owners of Windfall Farms? What's up with that farm? Web site is no longer up. Did they go out of business?

He has finally been sold to new owners, and is now standing at Victory Rose Thoroughbreds in Vacaville (Northern California), under the fine care of Ellen Jackson.
Ellen excels with stallions having reproductive problems and I was told by a syndicate manager who passed on purchasing SS that he was having low sperm count problems so he is at the right farm for success.

I liked SS too and sent him a mare a few years ago. The foal was the crookedest foal I ever bred. Another poster to this site had a couple of them that he/she said were disasters. You might send him a correct mare and then cross your fingers.

He seems to be the sort who gets a bunch of bad looking horses and a few absolutely brilliant ones.

That's not unlike most his sire-line. But boy can they limp fast!.

LOL! I've seen some very nice ones. Maybe the crooked in some of the babies is from combining the genes of both parents. The babies tend to humble us all.
