Would like some opinions on Gigawatt. He is new to Louisiana for 2009.

I noticed this horse when looking through the La stallion register & thought he was intresting being by Wild Again & being a half to Ravens Pass & family of E Dubai. Gigawatt was a decent hard knocker as a racehorse being a cut below the better middle distance routers but good enough to bank over 500k being a G3 winner on grass. I think for young stallions in La he would be well worth a look @ 1k listed stud fee. I like him better than some other higher priced stallions at that farm.

What's not to like? He's a stake winner, durable and from an outstanding female family.

He's also a half to Breeders Cup Classic winner Raven's Pass.

I went check him out a few minutes ago. He is around 16 hands and has good conformation. I was satisfied with his overall look and he should really come around when he fills out.

Thanks so much. You don't find that kind of pedigree in our neck of the woods very often.

Gigawatt is the reason I bet on Raven's Pass in his debut in the UK
at 20-1. **LOL**

should be a fine sire in the upcoming years as well as the pass naturally.

:D
