Pedigree Query

We met Marion this past Sept, my mother , my friend Bill and myself, while visiting the Gainesway stallions. My friend Bill , who had a lot in common with Marion, kept in touch via the telephone and formed a friendship. His passing has surely left a void for his family,friends, Gainesway and the TB breeding industry in general. Marion was still warm,enthusiastic, genuine and honest after more than 40 years in the business. The way the stallions looked and acted was certainly a testament to the care and attention given to them by Marion. We all would benefit by emmulating the ethics of this man.

Marion Gross was a wonderful person. He was both a gentle man & a gentleman...and a caring horseman/stallion manager extraordinaire.

Marion was a very special man...he may be gone, but he touched so very many he'll NOT be forgotten.

It's hard to imagine Gainesway Farm without Mr. Gross. He really was proud of his stallion management career. Easy-going, made everybody feel right at home. That place runs like clockwork under his care. His successor will have big shoes to fill!
