I was really undecided if I should breed my 2 best mares. I figured I would basically have to get a deal so good it would be considered stealing. After calling around since December, and not satisfied at all with what I was hearing, Ive just sat back and waited. My mares are in FL, and I want to breed down there. Well, I finally "stole" 2 seasons to a leading sire, and am very satisfied. I also made a call to a farm that had reduced fees for this year, since I have a stud fee due on a 2008 foal. I asked them if they could adjust the fee I owe since they dropped his fee this year, and they did.
It doesnt hurt to ask. And this year you may be surprised by the answers.
They're finally getting it.
