I don't know if anyone has seen this...but got this email today. Seems like an awesome deal. If I still had a mare, I would take advantage of this. There's still a couple of months left in breeding season.

On the stallion owners side..... I wonder how they are insuring that the folks pay the stud fee? You can sort of use the stallion certificate release as a bartering tool for payment... but they would have to release the certificate so that the progeny can run.
On the breeders side....seems like a great deal, no risk involved. And even better, if you are breeding for a show horse, you get a free breeding!

Probably the same way the rest of the nonbreeding world does...by an enforceable contract
The other incentive for them to do this is numbers. The California breeder awards checks were just cut this month and its not small change for the owner of a successful stallion.
