I just read on Blood Horse that Overbrook is negotiating to sell Pioneering to a consortium in Brazil. Last year, I helped Case Clay chase down Chapel of Dreams, who was sold by Overbrook and whose future I feared since she had been barren for a couple of seasons. Mr. Clay located her and has pensioned her for life at Three Chimneys. All by way of saying: Overbrook is clearly moving in another direction since Mr. Young's death. Of course, it makes sense now that Storm Cat is retired. But the Chapel of Dreams business kind of threw me. Overbrook certainly had more than enough $$$$ to pension her themselves! Thank goodness for people like Mr. Clay!
