I guess I should not have been surprised. He is a great stallion and will certainly have every opportunity now. I have not heard the price or the terms of the sale, but did read that the sellers no longer need to worry about the financial security of their farm.

Stonewall didn't retain 20%. That stayed with two other partners who were also in on him, Richard Santulli and Barry Weisbord.

The stallion just added a GR I winner today. His daughter Gabby's Golden Gal just won the Acorn Stakes. She was over heated after the race, I hope that she made it back to the barn ok.

Gabby's Golden Gal completed a unique triple for MD - Rachel Alexandra won the KY Oaks, Payton D'oro the Black Eyed Susan and now he has an Acorn victress as well!

he has a couple of really, really, really good colts, but no top class one that has broke though.
dream now is a really good one on turf out in socal. one broke his maiden very nicely today at churchill.
he'll be okay.
