No more Overbrook, no more Hurricane Hall. It's a tough business, the stallion business.

They didn't bite the dust, they moved.

I'm sure everyone who wants to breed to their stallions will be able to find them in their new location.

Yes - except English Channel. But if you read the article, Hurricane Hall is breaking up.

Must confess, the only horse they had that I really like is Artie Schiller.

Well, from a business standpoint, it doesn't seem too surprising. Any business that started in 2006--the height of the boom times--is likely to face a difficult time in 2009, regardless of what industry they are in.

So how's things with you and RT, Madelyn? You've had your share of tough breaks in the last year or so, if you'll forgive the pun. Hope the leg is 100% now.

I hope the best for everyone involved here. Have used this farm several times and have been very happy with all interactions with them. AND I love (and I mean love) my Teuflesburg colt - and once this stupid foot heals I will get down and get pictures of him and get them posted - I promise :)

The article says that Artie moved to the new facility, Pauls Mill - but I can't really find any info on Pauls Mill. I guess they will get it organized soon - folks are starting to shop now for 2010 bookings.

Pauls Mill had a nice consignment at the recent sale. Some real nice pedigrees.

I wanted to see him in October but I'd have to fly way south because he shuttled so I guess I'll have to do that next time.

Break up was a result of partners breaking up - Walden has moved his horses (Artie Schiller & Bellamy Road) to his new farm (Pauls Mill - way south in Woodford cty, almost on the KY River, single track road) and added US Ranger. As reported Teuflesberg went to Journeyman in Ocala.

Kelley & Scatuorchio have moved English Channel to Lanes End.
