I have a couple of Dehere homebred two year olds that I think a great deal of.
The filly is about 16 hands and will start about late August. She may be the best I ever raised and that includes a filly ranking in the teens of the EFH.
The colt is a chunky little guy who has a surprising turn of foot who will start later in the year.
Earlier in the year, these kids showed me a 13 and change (under restraint) 1/8th the first time I asked them to 2 minute clip.
Both have lovely dispositions and robust appetites, and seem to be happy on a dirt course.
Given Dehere's stats as both a sire and broodmare, I felt he was a no brainer mating for a couple of Raise A Native family mares.
Just wondered if anyone else would care to comment on their experiences.

They run on anything and do it with class. He's the best value in the business, in my opinion. Had it not been for spending the majority of his career abroad, he would have a substantial fee, in my opinion.
Fertility has been an issue with him in the past, but they had no problems with it this year. I heard they may shuttle him to the SH this year, which I think would be a mistake, but we'll see.

Schuylerville Stakes
Interesting to note that Dehere has two strong nominees (out of eight to race thus far) in the G3 Schuylerville on July 29th at Saratoga: a) Decelerator, already a G3 winner, and b) Beautician (see similarity in the Dehere/Rubiano cross with G1 Take Charge Lady)
The talented ones will give you an early hint.

Some specifics
Sorry, Merse. I just have a small private operation training in Maryland.
If you're from Maryland, you may be familiar with the old Vanderbilt Sagamore Farm. The filly is out of an old mare of mine who's damside directly produced the two time champions Bed O'Roses and Challedon.
The colt is out of my now deceased mare by a champion sprinter and out of a mare by a champion sprinter and she has produced to date 3 out of 3 MSW winners, one in the teens on the Experimental Handicap.
