Old Friends gets Glitterman, Polish Navy, & Jade Hunter

Postby freshman » Wed Jul 08, 2009 10:14 pm

An article in Bloodhorse announced that Jade Hunter was being pensioned to Old Friends, and in the body of the article it is mentioned that they have (or are getting?) Polish Navy and Glitterman. I haven't seen anything about Glitterman or Polish Navy on their site or in the news, but maybe I managed to look over this news.

Wow, along with all their others, they are amassing quite a collection of stallions! I thought that this sort of farm for stallions was a pretty neat idea when it formed a few years ago, but as they get more and more horses, this place is becoming pretty special. They have quite a mix of stallions (and geldings)--the big names, regional horses, random rescues--that makes the place interesting.

when they start taking in any old race horse I'll be impressed, until then I have to just be amazed at their facility and how it gets paid for.

They are also getting Black Tie Affair. I will continue to donate to this worthwhile facility, as well as several other rescues I support who take in "any old race horse". I happen to have some of those afore mentioned in my pasture (like many on this board do), if aardvark wants to send me a check
