Pedigree Query

It's really early, but what do you think of him as a sire? All his runners are winning on the turf and synthetic so far. Would you breed a mare to him?

Didn't think much of him until I saw him in the flesh back in Sept.. IMPRESSIVE. I would breed a mare to him in a heart beat especially a big turfy mare.

I've never seen him in person but everyone said that he wasn't too impressive, but that might have been because it was when he was just off the track, and still adjusting to farm life. If I had a mare I'd breed to him in a second. He's my favorite race horse.

His foals on the whole are big, good-looking, and very able on the grass. I remember taking a long look at a horse called Doubles Partner when he was back at the sales last year...he was too rich for our blood, but man was he a nice looking individual. I've been following him, waiting for his first grass race and just yesterday he came in at 15-1, so I hit a nice bet on him, haha. Also, The Mailet today looked very good at Hollywood winning a Grade 3. I have two mares who may eventually head his way, and I have an interest in a 2yo who's very nice physically though has dealt with some sore shins and won't start til 3.

I'll say one thing, if you see a Rock Hard Ten going to the grass for the first time at a decent price in a MSW, put a few bucks down just in case!

He's got a lot of nice horses coming up. Those yearling prices this past summer weren't phony and even though they have been turfy for the most part, who would have thought he would sire 2 year old winners?

Just don't expect a win first time out. Terrible first out sire.

I think his foals with be better at 3 and up, but I expect he will be a very good sire based on his breeding, racing class, and apparent conformation (based on photos and comments).

I would go out on a limb on this guy in saying I expect him to produce some top class runners.

His filly Octogarian broke her maiden first time out, but yeah, it seems like they generally need a start or two to get going. I have most of his runners in my virtual stable, and a couple have really cranked it up the past few weeks. Best Actor has been posting some really good works. I can't wait till he runs.

I really like the horse. We bought two of his yearlings this year and were outbid on a few others. We bred a mare each of his first two years and have been happy with the foals. They're much prettier than typical Roberto-line horses. I think he'll continue to climb up the sire rankings as his horses run further and there are more turf races as options. The filly Long Lashes in Europe is very highly thought of, and the one that won the Miesque at Hollywood was impressive as well.

Bear's Hard Ten (RHT x Playforme by Gone West) wins the Display S. at Woodbine easily! Awesome.

I believe he went for $1,000 as a yearling at Keeneland. I wonder why he sold for such a low figure.

Just returned from KY. after looking at stallions. If there is a better looking stallion than RHT I'd like to know.

Best Actor won yesterday going away at Gulfstream Park on the dirt. Won by 4 widening lengths.
