Showed some definite ability on the track but the Storm Cat ,Unbridled, and the hairline fracture after 6 starts keeps me away. Should I be more forgiving as he was asked to do alot in those 6 starts, somebody set me straight.

I feel the same way about him. He's a nice horse, but the soundness issue is a little scary and that would be the drawback. I personally would opt for a more durable horse, but I don't know. It's hard to tell what he will sire until they start to hit the track. Then again, he may surprise everyone...but I would make sure my mare was super durable, did not have any soundness issues and that soundness issues did not run in her family if I decided to breed to him. :)

Agreed.
I loved him in the Illinois Derby, and loved the fact that he was "right there" in the Ky. Derby and Belmont, but the soundness issues are a definite concern.

You're right, Oliverstoned, he was asked to do a lot in his six starts, but so is every horse that is attempting the Triple Crown.
