Aptitude at $7500 has got to be a great deal. The breed to race people must love this year.

Compared to the opportunities he's had, Aptitude hasn't shown much at stud. Currently he doesn't have enough 2010 earnings to crack the top 150 on the General Sires List. For less than half his stud fee, you can get to Slew City Slew who easily outperforms him in all categories.

LB,
Well said. It just seems like with the right mare, he should do something, but, there is a big difference between a race horse and a stud horse, I know.

Stephen Got Even

I like Stephen Got Even, for a breed to race son of A. P. Indy. He out performs Aptitude, with twice as many stakes winners, 3 times as many graded stakes winners, and two champions, from fewer foals.
