Why do you feel Lentenor over Nicanor? Just curious.

he's better. way better. lenator has real talent.

nicanor is a non graded stakes allowance horse.

leantor is going to win some big races one day once they get smart enough to take the damn jockey off his back and put johnny back

Barbaro, Nicanor and Lentenor are some very unusual Spanish names for a male horse. Not necessarily fashionable. Following this line, if someone asked me to suggest a name for another sibling I would suggest a name that would honor a great jockey, yet it is quite unique. The name is
IRINEO (for Irineo Leguisamo the great South American jockey who rode well into his 70's).

Wow total opposite, they are named after hunting dogs in a family heirloom painting.

Ahhhhh yes, I have seen said painting, and in it "Barbaro" holds a full house while "Lentenor" has a straight flush.......

I do believe my boyfriend had that on VELVET! If I'd only known it's future value, I would have stolen it b4 I dumped him

I don't remember a bunch of full brothers more famous than these
horses. Wow, Imagine two or threee additional full brothers and the people waiting for their careers to begin. Wish them success, but perhaps Barbaro will be forever regarded as the best by far. Makes me remember of Man O' War and all his bunch of siblings but only "Big Red" was the one. Even the great Native Dancer had a full brother (Face East) but only the blood of the "Gray Ghost" lives on ---from a practical perspective!
