We have a good statebred program here especially for Manitoba sired horses. Great incentives were specifically put in place to encourage better stallions to come here. It is extremely costly for our breeders to ship to Ky or Ontario so good local stallions are a priority. The arrival of Whiskey Wisdom in 2009 (and now Quest) indicate that the incentive program is finally working .
