Was wondering if anybody can vouch or share any experience with them. I contacted them but I think I was more confused when I got off the phone. I think they own some shares in a handful of stallions and work as a broker/ bloodstock advice as their main business.
Can they really get you a better discount then you could otherwise get yourself? Are theyre contracts legit or contain funny business?
They have a few sires like smarty, offlee wild, latent heat, rockport harbour listed, how big of a discount I wonder?

Few agents will publicly advertise the discounted fees as a courtesy to the stallion farm and shareholders. But many times, a legitimate agent can get significantly lower fees.
I've had no dealings with The Stallion Company but I know someone who likes them and uses them without incident. And no, there shouldn't be any "funny business" in the contracts. Most are very straight-forward.

I've dealt with them and they had some very good deals and some deals where the fee was the same as advertised, but they let you know how much they can get off.
In one case they had a substantial discount on a shareholders season to a midlevel stallion in another case the discount was only $500 below what the farm was offering me. It varies from farms, and shareholders.
You probably need to narrow down your parameters, including fee and they will tell you what they can offer. I believe they have been very straight forward, but of course they will try to help a stallion shareholder move a season and you have to decide if the fee is reasonable.
I'm satisfied that they are upfront and give good advice.

I worked for them after moving to KY, still keep in good contact with them and would highly recommend them. Jamie and his staff are very easy to deal with and always try their best.
