Karen, are you sure you are not thinking of War Front?

And yes Dublino having a passel of grade 2 and 3 winners who look like they can run some can make a horse a hot sire. Especially when that horse is coming out of the $15,000 range in stud fees.

As opposed to a sire who has sired G1 winners from the same fee who's horse not only look like they can run but actually get the job done? :?

Well Midnight Interlude is by War Chant so that's probably what karen was referring to..

I have never been a big Danzig fan but even I must admit he is a pretty good sire of sires.

????????? You really that stoopid

WAR CHANT G1 winners - (2 Millionaires also)

WAR FRONT G2 winners and BS Hype

Don't go there with overall stats when you are trying to talk up first season sires (with 3 yr olds), thats even dumber.

War chant is listed in the DB as Dark Bay/Brown. His photo looks like a regular bay, anyone want to weigh in about his color?

WHOA Dublino.... What happened here? Easy on Synsonby, easy on me...
Hey were all friends here........ We atleast I try.
No one is stupid its just because we all have different tastes on horses doesn't mean were stupid....

OKay Xfactor-- with the bays I have noticed that it depends on the time of year, what their eating and the condition of the body, shampoos, ect
I have a black two year old that when he gets slicked out he has rust portions. ACTUAL RUST not brown. Its amazing It really is.

Karen is NOT stupid, she is quite knowledgeable about alot of horsie items, but like me, we like this forum to ask and get questions answered from those of you fellow forum FRIENDS that are in the know.

It seems the more I read, the more I have seen more folks have had run ins with a certain Irishman. Give it a break dude! It's past your bedtime.

And yes, I, too was thinking this morning and checking out how many horses there are that have WAR in the beginning of their names!! WAR Chant, WAR Front, War Cry, WAR EMBLEM, War Pass, and on and on...so it does get confusing!

Don't be so quick to call someone stupid just for asking a question.

Re: War Chant. He's listed in the database as Dark Bay/Brown. Other than one photo where his coat is pretty light and his legs are slightly rusty looking, he looks like a pretty standard bay. Just wondering why he got the bay/brown designation.

I've seen that in the fall when they are starting to shed into their winter coats. It just means the coat is getting a bit dry and faded.
