I have to ask- can't help myself

Today I ran the Equineline produce record for Honey Ryder, one of my favorite ladies. I find her two year old son by Giant's Causeway, who sold for only 30K as a yearling, appears to have been named OddJob.
Can this be correct? If it is, why would anyone name a horse with such great bloodlines such a wonky name?

Maybe the owners are James Bond fans.

Given his breeding and what the stud fee was, at 30K maybe he looked funny. Sometimes horses need a bit of time to grow into their parts, many young horses go through several ugly stages.

I didn't realize OddJob was a Bond character. Looked him up and he sounds like a pretty cool dude. I'm sure, at 30K, that early development was not the equine OddJob's strong suit at his yearling sale. So, actually a pretty cool name. I'm relieved!!!
