This looks like his last race from this year.

Equibase is now very user friendly, just type a horse's name in the top, and his entire race record will come up.

Somewhere south of $7,500 would be a reasonable offer.

Clearly there are several amatuers on this board who haven't a clue about market values. They should stick with pony rides.

The horse was running for $7,500 claiming at the end so I think the last poster was right on.
Clearly you've overpaid for this dud you're trying to flip as a stud.

Claiming price has no relationship to market value. Any neophyte quickly learns this simple lesson. You should stick to what you know, whatever that is.

Actually most of the claiming horses I have been involved with selling privately sold for 50% of the last claiming price, so you are right. The price of this horse should be $3750.

Exactly. The 'market value' of horses is often much less than the claiming price they're running for.

So Bencaldine, for the sake of us less experienced and less knowledgeable folk, what do you think this gorgeous 16.1 winner of just over $30k is worth as a stallion prospect??
