I'm calling this Giant Fail for Vinery NY.. and I dont see it ending well for anyone.
NY doesnt need another $3,500 stallion who had 1 Maiden win..

Everyone is saying that Repole is good for racing. I heard an interview with him at Belmont last weekend where he said he was making the best of his current success because he might not have other horses like Thirsty and MO. I guess he forgot to mention Giant Surprise.

Repole is not "good" for racing..
While he may have Thirsty and Mo' he has starters breaking down at Finger Lakes as well.
So I don't see what GOOD he has done? Oh, he is good for racing because he is racing horses? Like an owner should do?
He is good for racing because he is on so many committies dedicated to addressing safety concerns of horses, riders, track surfaces, etc?-No-
He is good for racing because he donates money to different horse welfare organizations? -havent seen the PR-
He is good for racing because he cares about his animals.. A) he put mo' on the farm for lay up b/c he knows Mo' is a cash-cow and 60 or 90 days of farm board wasnt going to kill him. B) if he cared about his animals he wouldn't be running sore, vanned off, vet scratched horses at Finger Lakes/Penn and they would all be resting on a lay up.
At best Repole is a 15 minute owner.. He'll be hot and stir the pot for 15 minutes and then spudder out.. Buddy you're at minute 14 in my book.

he has too much money to be 15 minute owner IMHO, he's ridiculously loaded, but other than that i agree
in other repole related news, Uncle Mo will stand at Ashford stud

I should not have used the term "everyone." The truth though is that I've heard interviewers and commentators on HRTV and TVG tell him that when on the air. So I agree both Crystal and Bdw0617 that his value to racing is still a book waiting to be written.
Who are his trainers at Finger Lakes and other tracks?
