Tribal Rule only got 27! That seems flawed! Papa Clem leads California with 103 mares!

Slew City Slew may not have been getting mares in foal, due to his age. They did retire him from stud duty this year.

I would like know what % of mares settle on the ones that show around 150+ bred.

It's so fun to see this report at the end of the year. Especially after you speak with the stallion managers and they assure you that "so and so" has *this* many mares

In actuality I see one of the stallions ended up with nearly 30 more mares then the said limit.

There's a different report that shows that. Obviously the numbers aren't yet available for mares bred in 2011. But here are the stats for mares bred in 2010 and who foaled in 2011:
http://jockeyclub.com/information.asp?r ... tyear=2010
(it's alphabetical by stallion name)

I always thought papa clem would do really really good out in california. he has a very classy pedigree and the horse had run, just had some distance limitations.

Does anyone else always find themselves checking out The Green Monkey's numbers when this thing comes out every year? I can't be the only one...

Actually, maybe. He's been shuttling to Argentina for a couple of years now. Don't know if he still is.
