Well, Blood-Horse finally put one of my articles up on the website (OK, besides the brief Derby contender profiles in the Classic Spotlight section). Just thought y'all might like to know.

Mahubah, are you talking about the cover article on last week's issue? If so, that was great! I really enjoyed reading it.

Just call me the Meddler (who was undefeated as a 2YO and sent to the United States where he became a stallion of highly underated Historical importance in my opinion, very strong FemFam on that horse to say the least, incidently Queen Bertha connects to the Lavendula line if you go back far enough):

And it (the article) was good. Especially nice to see a cover story of such potential use to breeders.

Great article! *Thanks* for thinking of Randy Cat! It is so thrilling to see even a relative of Rocking Trick get her name in print!
By the way I am halfway through American Classic Pedigrees and while I truly love the book I hope there is not a quiz at the end. Maybe some of the incredible map that makes up the family tree of the modern American Thoroughbred will stick in my mind when I am done. If only by osmosis...

Great work Mahubah.
You may be interested to know that your article is already being discussed by Australian and New Zealand breeders.

I only just got my copy today, so I was thrilled to see it was this week's cover feature -- a real surprise. Thanks for the kind words from all.

P.S. No quiz, Madelyn, and if you choose to set yourself one, it's all open book. I pull my working copy off the shelf just about daily to look up stuff, so if I can't remember everything in there after writing it, why should you expect yourself to remember it after just one reading? Anyone who does must have one super memory!
