candy spots...

candy spots...
this probably been asked a hundred times, but his spots. Those arent Birdcatcher spots; they dont look like. Are they Tetrarch spots? Any other pictures of horses like this in his pedigree? Didnt see any in a quick search.

Am not a color expert, but Candy Spots' white looks to be a discreet expression of sabino, imo. The Tetrarch's spots were probably a variant pattern of graying, mode of inheritance is unknown. He's at 5d in the pedigree of one of our mares.
