Darley sells Henny Hughes?

Postby Crystal » Thu Jul 05, 2012 7:07 am

Just an internet rumor or is he really headed to WA state?

Thoughts on WA states next leading sire? (just based on his KY numbers.)

He's been sold to Australia.

Well the good news for me is that this should insure his two year olds come out blazing.

WA, in this case, is short for Western Australia, which is as important to Australian racing/breeding as Washington state is to American racing/breeding.

Yeah lol......it's also were our G1 "stayer" stallions are usually banished in Australia when their racing careers are finished. Especially the Victorian Derby winners.

This is actually a surprise to me. I thought he was doing reasonably well. I thought he was in the top 10 for his crop, or thereabouts, and had been producing reasonably consistent quality. I too have one of his '11's...don't know what to do with it now...

As I remember, you had one by Henny Hughes and Cuando Quiere. C.Q.'s family is doing great. Two of her daughters have already produced graded stakes winners and she herself has produced 4 stakes winners, as I recall. Your girl should do great! 8)
