I just read about that.. very sad. He was a pretty good sire, I think.

Wow, a huge loss.
I wonder if they will release cause of death. Judging from the conformation shot from the Bloodhorse article, he was a fat boy.

He won't disappear from pedigrees, that is for sure.

He was definitely too fat but to drop dead like that I would suspect first either a heart arrhythmia or more likely a ruptured aorta. Other possibilities exist but most of them would show some symptoms. I guess he could have also died from a allergic reaction like Easy Goer. I hope they let us know.
