Hello, I was wondering what are the thoughts on confirmation on this attractive horse in Oregon.

It's difficult to accurately guage conformation from any photo, much less a poor one like the one the farm has posted. Nevertheless, as a $200,000 sales yearling I'd suspect he's a good bodied horse. The BIG worry is that he started only 11 times over a four year career. I'd make a call to his previous connections to find the facts about his soundness.

DIXIE UNION is making a nice start as a sire of sires. If this horse was a sound racehorse I think he would make a very nice stallion for the northwest.

He was trained by Michael Hushion for his entire career. If you're serious about breeding to him you may want to call him. Most trainers are happy to talk about their horses, especially when they're retired.

This horse had plenty of speed, that's for sure. With the right kind of mare he could be alright.
