Cree, I can not give you an answer, but I am thrilled and when I will be able to go to England, I will try to visit him. He is such an exciting breeding prospect!
The Blushing Groom and Ahonoora lines back to Europe.

Definitely be nice to have the Blushing Groom bloodline back over there, the article says he will cross well with all of the Galileo/Sadlers Wells, Danehill and his sons.
I always thought it was weird he went to Florida, but he did alright there. I expect big things in Europe for him.

I'm not surprised that Lanwades picked him up. His pedigree and racing aptitude are much better suited to Europe than the US.
This isn't the first time Lanwades has bought a stallion from North America that fits the Euro market very well--they bought With Approval a few years ago. They seem to look for stallions who are outcrosses to the general mare population, and price them very fairly. Leroi should fit in well there. He'll be stepping into big shoes, what with Selkirk and Hernando both dying earlier this year.

The fact that he'd already "clicked" with a German-bred mare undoubtedly factored into the purchase.

That, and he's had good success when bred to several other European lines not otherwise found in North America:

Having stood Selkirk, I imagine that the two-for-two good runners from Halling mares was very attractive to them.
