I saw him in 2004, and thought he was terribly unattractive. He was not a balanced horse at all, very lengthy and looked weak-backed & weak through the hip. I don't recall what his legs looked like; I was so turned off by the rest of him that I discounted him immediately.
He only got 80 mares last year, and I'd be willing to bet that most of them were pretty cheap in an effort to get him numbers. Just my opinion.
