Hi Tia,

Hawkeye raced once as a two year old in Ireland, where he was third in an EBF maiden in Gowran Park. As a three year old he raced 8 times, won three including two races on the Curragh, he was third in the Prix du Moulin de Longchamp in Longchamp (France) a GR 1 race, also third in the Queen Elizabeth II Stakes, (GR 1) and fourth in the Dubai Champion Stakes (GR 1) im Newmarket (England). After that he was sold private to mr. Gary Tanaka. Hawkeye cost 450.000 guineas at the December Sales as a foal but there was no doubt at that moment that te prize was a bit higher than that. Hawkeye raced for his new owner in the Hong Kong Cup (GR 1) a credible fourth place at Sha Tin. As a four year old he finished fifth in the Singapore Airlines Int. Cup (GR 1) at Kranji. After that he went to Italy to run a second place in the Gran Premio di Milano (GR 1) and achieved also a second place back in England, where in the Pentax Stakes he was runner up. He also went to the States, running unplaced in Saratoga in the Sword Dancer Invit. Hand. Stakes and two races in Santa Anita and Hollywood Park. He had a timeform of 122 as a three year old. His dam Tea House 107. She won four races. The family traces to champion two year old Mesopotamia.
As far as I can find out about his racing, I do not know what happened after it.
Kind regards,
