Bravo Bull Babies

Most of you know I work at Iowa State University where we stand Bravo Bull. I've been busy with the camera, I thought I would show off some of the babies....

Beautiful foals Adrienne. How many mares did he cover last year? I'll be anxious to see how they run here in a few years! :D

He covered 22 mares last year. :)

I'm excited to see them run too! He looks like he has an OK chance to produce something decent!

LoL. *I* was chasing *him* <eg>

Though, we have 4 thoroughbred babies out with one quarter horse baby. The quarter horse baby is a pleasure bred TUB... they LOVE chasing him around.

Adrienne -

How involved does the University's students in training get in preparing them for their careers. Are they aimed at becoming racehorses?
Does the University sell them? Privately or at Auction? At what age? etc.
