One Hundred Slews, where's he at in Iowa?

Postby Camish » Sat Apr 16, 2005 2:41 pm

Does anyone know the farm where One Hundred Slews is currently standing? I know he's in Iowa, but can't find where. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

From the Thoroughbred Times archives:

One Hundred Slews to stand at Iowa’s Priebe Farm

One Hundred Slews, a nine-year-old son of Seattle Slew who won four of 28 starts in six seasons, has been sold to Berl E. Priebe Farm near Algona, Iowa, where he will stand his first season.

One Hundred Slews last raced on March 25, 2003, at Mountaineer Race Track where he pulled up in a $10,000 claiming race. He started his career in the barn of Ron McAnally, who trained for Sidney Craig, who purchased One Hundred Slews for $210,000 at the 1996 Keeneland September yearling sale.

Out of the stakes-placed winner Centennial Time, by Storm Bird, One Hundred Slews is a half brother to stakes placed winner Thomasina and is from the family of classic winner Aloma’s Ruler. One Hundred Slews earned $113,900.
