TURN - TO 5X4

Postby louis finochio » Fri May 13, 2005 6:09 am

El Prado, by Sadlers Wells is line-bred to Turn-to 5 SS X 4 DS, El Prado has been breaking sticks and producing the goods.

This sire is a quality and prolific producer of SW.

For those anti Turn-to fans this is one great stallion.
Those without sin cast the first stone.

Hi Louis,

A number of Turn-To line stallions like the return of Turn-To.

Broad Brush in particular is inbred to him and many of his SWs have additional Turn-To.

The idea that Turn-To is unsound blood is not based on fact. The person who used to post about this always ignored the fact that the individuals that they used as examples almost all had run 10 or more times.

Horses from any lines can and unfortunately do break down. I forget the name of an improving stakes filly by Pleasant Colony who snapped her leg and then her neck in the middle of the Belmont stretch a few years ago(was it Belmont day?). Supposed to be a sound sire line.

Regards,

Pete
