Monarchos is One for One!

Postby Coquinerie » Wed May 18, 2005 8:19 pm

I must say, I know Monarchos doesnt have a ton of fans on this site but I happen to LOVE him as a stallion prospect. He has the family, the turn of foot, and rather nice conformation (come on now, no stud's perfect :? ). His daughter Fifth Avenue won at first asking and she's the first of his to run. Funny enough, me and my partners saw her in Florida earlier than year and passed. She was one of his more unattractive offerings, but a nice family behind her!

Hey, I like Monarchos!!! :D
But not for any smart reason, I'll admit...
"Pretty horsey...friendly...I like horsey!"
That admitted, I hope his kids do well! I always chose him over Point Given in the Triple Crown rivalry.

Honestly, I think he has way MORE than a chance. I dont know what it is about this horse but I LOVE the way he looks and you cant argue he had some brilliance. Love that family behind him too! Cant go wrong with a lot of those old Darby Dan cultivated fams. I will breed to him. I just dont know when. I'm not sure either of my fillies "suit" him but I havnet really looked at the pairings much either.
