Tiznow's first winner

Postby saintlyCZ » Sat Jun 04, 2005 8:38 am

Congratulations to my beloved boy!!! :D
It's relatively soon for him I think, and his filly showed very nice speed, so I can't be more happy... :D
But has anybody picture of Folklore or know where to find it? :?:

Very interesting pedigree for Folklore, with a sex-balanced 4x4 to In Reality as a "wrap" around the 5x5x4 cross to Northern Dancer. I had been thinking when Tiznow went to stud that Storm Bird and Royal Academy might make effective crosses for Tiznow -- Lyphard/Storm Bird and Lyphard/Nijinsky are among the stronger Northern Dancer doublings, and both sires carry Crimson Satan, a son of Tiznow's t/f ancestress *Papila. Still, this mating carries other interesting elements with the presence of Fappiano (generally quite compatible with In Reality) and the In Reality daughter along the tail-female line, so it will be interesting to see other winners emerge for Tiznow and give further clues as to what he may be throwing best with.

She traces back to the same female line as Smarty Jones

She goes back to Stolen Base the 3rd dam of Smarty Jones.

Hi all,

I'm pleased to see Tiznow get a nice precocious winner.

If she's tail female to Stolen Base, then she traces 3 generations back to the wonderful Baby League and 4 generations to the magnificent foundation mare La Troienne herself.

Good luck to Folklore.

Regards,

Pete
