Lakland owns the dam of my first OTT race mare I recently sold to Ky. The dam's name is BANISSA by LAR FAN and she has 2 babies now by Freud; one, Bella Banissa, is by Good And Tough and was sold at auction for $100K which she has just about won back. She practically won two races back to back in June and July at Hollywood Park. One was a MSP; the other an Allowance race on the Tur. Banissa was bred back to Good And Tough. And while turf racing isn't as popular in the US as it is in Europe, $100K is $100K, lol. And what about Kitten's Joy whose dam is by Lear Fan, when he goes to stud? Well, I almost forgot that he has already been sold to Japan interests. So now, if Giants Causeway is a turf horse, will there be enough enough top turf mares to court him in the US.
