Tumblebrutus?

Postby austique » Thu Aug 04, 2005 7:15 pm

Just browsing Walmac's website and noticed that Tumblebrutus is now missing from the site. Has he been sold or was there a fertility claim?

I actually bred a mare to him this year and was aware that he had been having behavioral problems in the shed. My mare was open, but she turned out to have some issues of her own. He was supposed to have shuttled to Chile at the end of the season. I just found it weird that he was off the website.

I'm thinking Cain and Able, Romulus and Remus....

Anyone know if any of the other 4 brothers applied for a gun license recently?

Hate to think the worst, but.....

It was probably Roar of the Tiger. That Florida humidity is killer.

Hi Austique,

I think you're right, you must be right, PEARL agrees with you.

I'm not surprised the stud farm let him go. He didn't look like much, and was beneath the class of studs they prefer to stand. They only had him because of the relationship to Giant's Causeway.

ya know I liked how he looked. I have some nice pictures of him.. maybe I have the only nice pictures of him.. It was Tenpins that I didn't like....

When they were offering big deals I was a little interested in breeding to him, but changed my mind. Guess that was a good thing!

Come on guys! Give the Brutus some love! I can't be the only dope that tried to breed to him  Actually I still kind of like him, but I'm co-dependent. I actually kind of breathed a sigh of relief that my mare came up with an issue when I saw the GC's struggling on the dirt and an even bigger sigh of relief when they started dropping like flys. I'm just at a loss as to why he's gone off the website with no announcement. By the way, does anybody know where Wordsworth (the Deputy Minister one) is? I'm just curious to see what he does compared to the other ones.

Okay, I had to e-mail Walmac on another matter and asked about the 'Brutus. Apparently he is owned by the farm in Chile, and they stated that they didn't know if he would return to the U.S. for 2006 or not; however, the tone of the e-mail and the mention that they hoped to have some new stallions to choose from for 2006 made me think he should bone up on his Spanish.

Austique, did they give you a hint which new stallions might be coming in?
