Pulpit

Postby Melhor_Ainda » Thu Aug 18, 2005 10:43 pm

Hey everyone,

As you guys can probably tell, I'm a big fan of his progeny.. Was wondering if any of you have bred a mare to him and have seen Pulpit in person.

Welcome to the forum! I have seen Pulpit in person, though I've never bred to him. I'd like to someday, if I had the right mare.

Nice looking stallion and his offspring do better on the turf.
All men are equal on the turf - or under it.

What appeals to me about Pulpit is that he sires just about anything.... short, long, turf, dirt.. I think his offspring do take to the lawn better, but perform well on the dirt. Oratory impressed me, before he got hurt. I've seen Pulpit in person. He's gorgeous, and has a nice temper.

Melhor Ainda, you're lucky to have seen Pulpit in person; I adore him. He was a really brilliant racehorse - I'm glad that he's doing well at stud, and his offspring definitely take to the turf. Your namesake is my favorite Pulpit offspring; she did her daddy proud in the Beverly D. That was such a frustrating race because she had absolutely no where to run for the last 1/4 mile.

You'll meet him someday Betsy. He's so sweet. I adore MA so much, I think I'm going to write to Frankel about her. :D

Aww, I'm glad to hear Pulpit is a sweetie. Frankel lives next door to my sister so I'm going to need to find some excuses to visit her...lol. I think MA will be running in the Flower Bowl, but I'd really love to see her get her confidence back with a grade 1 against her her peers.....then run her against the older mares again.
