Has anyone seen City Zip in person? I am interested to know if anyone has any opinions on his conformation.

I was just talking about him--with someone else who hasn't seen him either, LOL. It seems to me I recall hearing that he was an inexpensive yearling because he wasn't too well made. I'll probably get over to Lane's End to see him sometime in the next couple of weeks.

hi LSB
A blemish (as a result of check ligament surgery) apparently limited his sales appeal...if I recall correctly.
Carl Bowling purchased him for approx $10,000+-
Not a bad buy...hmmm.
Best to you.

I have been very impressed with him so far, 17 winners and a couple stakes winners in my book is a great start. I would be very interested in breeding to him this spring. Even though $ 15,000 may be a little high, I think he could be worth it.

You were right Gowestyoungman - City Zip had his 2nd stakes winner yesterday!
