I hear from a reliable source that Dehere is coming back to the United States for 2006. He will be limted on the amount of mares bred to him.

I don't know. The stud fee will be around 20K
Book limited to 100 mares.

He's a solid stallion who's daughters are really starting to turn it on in the shed. 20k may scare off a lot of people though, but I can see him getting a lot of breed-to-race clients at the price.

Limited book? Isn't Coolmore the group that's bringing him back? Their idea of a limited book is 250 mares.

I am told Dehere does not have the ability to handle a big book of mares.
That was one of the reasons he was originally sent away.

He is a horse with questionable fertility. In his past three seasons at Arrowfield he has averaged 75% fertility, despite them limiting his book. He is an outstanding stallion but you have to take your chance.

Agree BROGER.

He is one of very few stallions that has been an upgrader in 2 regions...particularly when one is dirt orientated and the other turf orientated.

He would be reasonable value at $20k US for you guys.

His good horses are very good.
