Thoughts on Deputy Storm?
A nice typical type son of Forestry & out of a Canadian champion. He ran a 105 beyer here at Oaklawn in the King Cotton. He seems well worth a look for $3,500 in Maryland. Thoughts?

Saw Deputy Storm in the flesh yesterday . . . he is a dark bay, blazed face, four full stockings. Plenty of chrome! He is well balanced, nicely muscled, and stands about 15.2 1/2 - 15.3. He is pretty correct in front for a Storm Cat line horse. Short cannon bones, knees slightly offsett. He moves pretty straight. He has a good shoulder, and a strong, somewhat sloping hip in the tradition of Bold Ruler. Hind leg is straight.
Please . . . I am the original Cathy
I didn't notice the feet being shelly, but he did have a minor toe crack, and is shod with the shoe set back from the toe and clips, which is pretty routine for addressing the long toe/low heel syndrome so many racehorses develop. The crack appeared to me to be the result of hoof balance issues rather than weak feet.
