This is quite a goofy notation, but I read the BloodHorse article below earlier in the day, and I'll be damned if it didn't say "Mass Media, Value Plus and Badge of Silver Retired." Now Mr. Badge of Silver is no longer named as a retiree in this piece. I ask you, what the hell? It's like that Twilight Zone episode where the three astronauts slowly dissapear off of the face of the earth one by one...

He's still listed as a retiree on another site, but why was this edited? Maybe an eighth place finish wasn't the way the owners wanted him to go out, so they changed their minds??
(Heh, soon the article will only say, "Mass Media Retired," and no one will remember that Value Plus or Badge of Silver ever existed...then the entire article will cease to exist.)
Huh?

It says that he will remain in training but will still retire to make this latest breeding season. Eh? Doesn't he need to train for his stallion duty? That's coming up soooooon- unless they already know he's a pro at that sort of thing
Or maybe there's not a lot of interest in him, so it doesn't matter if he starts a few months late.
At least we know that the horse did not dissaper into thin air, as I feared
