After spending a day on Rocking Trick to fully analyze him, he has achieved a Genetic score of 13.22 and a Racing Ability score of 14.89, which gives him a GRA score of 28.11. This is quite high, but not high enough to ensure success without a well manage book. Since he has no foals of racing age he is given a Stud Performance score of 6.36, which gives him a GRASP score of 34.77.
THANK YOU!! As for his book, we are being pretty careful to get mares with pedigree, conformation and racing if not the mare herself, at least blacktype in the preceding two or three generations.
Smaller numbers but hopefully much better percentages of runners and winners... statistics rule!
I wouldn't be afraid to send him some real plodders to see if the Phone Trick will hold up again another generation like happens in South America all the time.
best of luck with him. He scored a lot higher than I initially thought he might
Thank you {Rocky takes a bow} he also has intelligence and temperament to die for and is completely sound... what more could a stallion mother want?
George, thank you so much for taking the time to work on RT's scores.. I have a lot of faith in him but it is so rewarding when "evidence" appears to support my theory..
Thanks George... I have to get with the Jockey Club today. Rocking Trick covered 11 mares this year, not 10, so I have to figure out the "missing" breeding. He had a positively lovely band of mares, and looks like getting four times that for 2006.

Princess Omar has been at my farm for awhile... Bill from WA waxed poetical about her last year. She is from a truly lovely family.
I had her for sale but didn't get any buyers so she was bred to Rocking Trick. She is for sale in foal, I will probably put her on Starquine this week.
Anyhow, she probably sounds familiar because she has been discussed quite a bit.
I second the kudos on Rocking Trick. He's got it all....talent, pedigree, looks, and temperament. I usually stay with stallions in my state incentive program, but I *really* have my eye on Rocky.
Madelyn, do you own Miss Ballet? Looks like a nice mare on paper.
