Appaloosa patterned Thoroughbred stallion

Postby Deartoall81 » Wed Dec 07, 2005 7:41 pm

I just heard about this horse on one of my yahoogroups. He's from the Bold Ruler sire line, and family #6 on the dam's side.

This horse is by an Argentine stallion so i suspect he is that weird color
that Leslie did a talk on at Breyerfest
Anyway it is a wierd pattern that seems to occur only down there (but
across breeds). He probably is also sabino.

Yeah manchado overo. I couldn't remember it and there it was, right in his name. Not an appaloosa though! They still don't know what causes it or why it seems to be an argentina thing! Sure is cool though, anyone want to go halves? LOL
