By the bye, for those of you unfamiliar with this guy....
Song of the Sword, a multiple graded stakes-placed son of Unbridled's Song, will stand the 2006 breeding season at Fox Tale Stud (formerly Blue Moon Equestrian) in Coopersburg, PA. He is owned by Paraneck Stables, and is the only black-type son of Unbridled's Song standing in Pennsylvania.
Song of the Sword ran second in the 2004 Illinois Derby (g. II), third in the 2004 Lexington Stakes (g. II) and 2005 Stymie H, and eleventh in Smarty Jones' Kentucky Derby, during a career that included four wins and earnings of $269,555. During his career, Song of the Sword defeated such major graded winners as Castledale [IRE], Friends Lake, Pollard's Vision, Suave, Quintons Gold Rush, Skipaslew, Saratoga County, and Sinister G. He is out of the Crusader's Sword mare Appealing Ms. Sword, dam of additional 2005 stakes performer Mr. Sword, and grade II-placed winner Valerie's Dream. The introductory fee for Song of the Sword has been set at $3,500, ($3,000 for resident Pennsylvania mares), with special consideration to black-type mares, six-figure earners, and mares with heavy black-type pedigrees.

Late-season deals to be had on seasons to this fine, fine stallion! You've seen how well the Unbridled's Song sons have done at stud, and another (Unbridled Time) is already atop the 2006 freshman sire rankings. (It's early, I know, but still...)
Anyway, this is a terrific looking stallion who ran in Smarty Jones' Kentucky Derby. Email me for more information!
