Man O' War Stallion

Postby phara » Mon Jan 23, 2006 7:29 am

I'm looking for a stallion desending from Man O' War. My QH mare has Man O' War top side 6 generations back, and War Adermal bottom side 6 generations back. I would like to see if I could bring out some racing bloodlines! :)

The only branch left for the most part come from In Reality.

Are you looking for a stallion with man o' war bloodlines, or one that is tail male to man o' war?

One of our boys (Five Eighty Four) has WAY more than his "fair share" of that bloodline (9.38% War Admiral), but he's not tail male.

That said, I'm sure your stallion "shopping list" includes a lot of other factors as well. Please email me if you want to discuss more about the qualities you're looking for.

Bucksplasher and Lear Fan have Man O War in 4th generation, don't know if either is still alive/active but they may have sons plus of course the In Reality horses but he's further back there, depends on the fee you want (or don't want to pay) Valid Expectations probably has some sons around that would fit nicely with a Qh and don't cost a mint. Or to get it closer a Valid Appeal or In Reality son. Lear Fan and Proper reality had quite a few active sons listed in 2002.

You could try Cee's Tizzy or Honour and Glory.
