Battle Creek Girl, by His Majesty has arrived at Running Horse Farm
in Albuquerque, New Mexico for the 2006 breeding season. Here's the
text of my press release.
Albuquerque - Graded-stakes winner and prominent California sire,
TRICKY CREEK has been relocated for the 2006 breeding season to Nancy
and Loren Bolinger's Running Horse Farm LLC, Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Purchased by a partnership from the John J. Zamora's Zamora Racing
dispersal, TRICKY CREEK formerly stood at Gary and Marlene Howard's
Hideaway Farms Inc., San Jacinto, California.
TRICKY CREEK will stand the 2006 breeding season in New Mexico for a
$2500.00 fee, live foal. He has been entered into the New Mexico
Stallion Registry and the Lineage Series, a racing showcase for New
Mexico-bred foals. All New Mexico-bred foals of TRICKY CREEK will be
eligible for NM Breeders' awards and eligible for nomination to
Lineage Series races.
In four years of racing, TRICKY CREEK won 9 races and $873,288,
including the Discovery H. [G2], Kentucky Jockey Club S. [G2],
Nassau County H. [G2], Omaha Gold Cup S. [G3], and placed in ten
other stakes.
At stud, TRICKY CREEK, from 11 crops of racing age, has over
$13,700,000 in lifetime progeny earnings, over $50,000 average
earnings per starter, with 211 winners of 947 races, 16 stakes
winners, 39 stakes-placed including BOBBY'S BUCKAROO ($451,629),
TRICKY MOCHA ($378,169), SOCCORY ($303,029), etc. TRICKY CREEK has
also sired 23 percent 2-year-old winners from foals.
TRICKY CREEK by Clever Trick is out of the matriarch, Battle Creek
Girl, stakes-placed dam of seven other stakes horses, including
PARADE GROUND ($794,995), PARADE LEADER ($712,507), SPEED DIALER
($384,656), EVERHOPE (310,233), and champion, WAVERING GIRL
($314,084).
Loren Bolinger, farm & stallion manager at Running Horse Farm LLC,
will handle inquiries and booking arrangements. TRICKY CREEK joins a
stallion roster that includes Vaudeville, Alnaab, and Bull Inthe
Heather for 2006 at Running Horse Farm LLC, Albuquerque, New Mexico.
