Canaveral

I just bought a mare in foal and she was bred to Canaveral. Does anybody know this stallion or anything about him at all? I haven't been able to find out much online and I'd appreciate any input or to be pointed in the right direction.

Thanks!

Canaveral was getting a lot of early spring hype in 1994 but never quite lived up to the reputation -- I think he ran out of the money in the Flamingo, then a G3 race, and went down with some bug or another afterwards that knocled him for a loop if my memory is functioning right. He never reached the heights once predicted for him but did become a listed stakes winner as a five-year-old. His opportunities as a sire have been pretty limited but he did get 2002 Canadian champion juvenile filly Brusque in his third crop.
