Just purchased a stallion off the track named "MUSTANG JOCK". Going to stand him in Louisiana at the Running "R" Ranch in Opelousas. Anyone interested in breeding to him should call Rob Redding at 337-288-0545. Check out his pedigree!!! He is absolutely gorgeous and very correct. This year his stud fee is $500.00. That's a steal!!

Were you able to process the paperwork so his first foals may be registered as a LA bred? Best wishes on your new stallion.

LA TB Breeders site also has a wbsite that allows for hypomating your mare to LA sires. Not sure what you would need to do to get your sire listed there (not all LA sires are) but I really like what they offer.

with your fare set at 5 you should get a number of mares, Good Luck.

Yes JOCK will be registered in LA and his foals will be LA accredited.

Thanks for all the kind comments. We love Jock and think he is a beautiful animal and has the genetic makeup to be a very good stallion. If his foals look half as good as he does they will be knockouts. Jock sold in the KEENOV 2000 sale as a weanling for $275K. I honestly believe you will not find a horse with a better pedigree for the $500 stud fee this year. Thanks again for your kind words.

I want to thank all the great breeders in Louisiana for supporting MUSTANG JOCK by Wild Again and COUNTER PUNCH by Cozzene. The response to both stallions has been phenomenal!! Having located both relatively late in the breeding season and with no advertisement except word of mouth, I am truly amazed by the number of mares booked so far. Can hardly wait until next year to see their babies.

Thanks Again, Louisiana TB breeders!!! :D

Glad they are doing so well, LOVE Mustang Jock's pedigree, I can see why he would get such a good response!

I love Wild Again (by Icecapade)! I would love to see him live on through his sons! Best of luck with him in putting some notable foals on the ground!
