Keep The Faith?

Anyone heard from him latley on the track as to where he may be or if he has went to stud & if so where as I think he is a very usuable son of Sunday Silence for us here in the states? Darley owned and ran him so I thought there may be a god chance of him going to stud here.

I'm not sure where he's gone. Haven't had any StableMail on him in quite a while. But, as far as stallion potential here, I'm at a loss to why you think he would be received any better than the other Sunday Silence sons here, other than perhaps because he has Darley behind him. His dam wasn't much on the track and his lone stakes win was ungraded on grass in Aus. in 2004. He's speedy, but no one is much into SS in the US. Maybe he'd be a useful sire for the breed to race crowd, though :?:

He is standing down here this coming eason. $8.8k from memory. ???

I did keep an eye on him while racing in Oz. When he was allowed to lead he did it so easily. He almost broke a 1600m track record set by Northerly at Caulfield and looked like he was having a track gallop. Beautiful action.

He did not race well when thrown into the pack. That may be a mental thing due to his 3yr old spring campaign or maybe it is just him.

I like the horse and would send a mare to him but I just don't have that many mares to go around.

But, it's always a pleasure to see such a well conformed horse that can run fast. I don't think that the cute little ballerina type mare will suit him as they probably don't want to run with the pack either. Neither will our big bummed mares. Something more refined with class I think.
