Looks like someone culled their TB herd, also a couple of Apps (one FOALED in all that muck last night), and a HINNY. Please check them out and even if you can't take one but would like to help get them off the lot you can donate via paypal. See the CBER message board, horses on the lot forum and adoption team under that for pledges.
We don't have much time on this one a SEMI is coming in the next day or so and all these lovely TBs and others will ship to slaughter (he did say he'd hold back the mare and foal). Please post and crosspost this far and wide esp. on TB, App and longears lists.
What kind of monster sends a mare ready to foal to the kill pen? WHY breed a mare in the first place if she has that little value to someone? It's just gross.
And the TB younguns (long yearling and a 2yo) that may never have a chance. WHY breed those at all? People are just idiots.
Oh yeah the URL http://www.columbiabasinequinerescue.or ... orses.html
Nabisco, Jackpot, Arizona and Applejack are BAILED and should be picked up soon, it is the new ones that need help FAST! Most of these horses were saved by $5, $10, $25, and a couple $100-400 donations. EVERY bit helps so don't think any amount is too small to donate to save a life. :'(
